Jaie Laplante Recognized by King Felipe VI

His Majesty King Felipe VI has granted Mr. Jaie Laplante the Knight's Cross of the Order of Isabel la Catolica. The King wants to recognize Laplante for his loyal and constant defense of Spanish cinema and film in Spanish in Florida.
Jaie Laplante is a film screenwriter, actor and since 2010 the executive director and curator of the Miami Dade College's Miami Film Festival. The festival is committed to being a portal for Spanish and Latin American filmmakers, both established and emerging.
