The first ever NolanCon Fandom convention is coming to Tampa, FL this August.
On August 13th & 14th, fans of all manner of pop culture will convene at The Best Western Westshore Hotel for NolanCon, a convention dedicated to focusing on the lunatic fringe of cult film, television, comics, music and art! The convention will also feature a film festival hosted by McCurry Films & Distribution featuring movies by local filmmakers.
Nolan Canova, for whom the Convention is named, is the webmaster and creator of Nolan's Pop Culture Review (www.crazedfanboy.com), a website that reports on everything from current events to the latest in science fiction and fantasy entertainment. Nolan's passion for the unusual will now be brought to the public in a live forum like never before.
Special guests at the Con are scheduled to appear and currently include Debbie Rochon, Bill Rebane, Hollie Winnard, Conrad Brooks, Krista Grotte, Ray Dennis Steckler and more. UFO seminars, film screenings, film contests, prop displays and other events and attractions are planned for the weekend.
