The 8th Annual LUNAFEST is making its rounds and will be stopping in Tampa on April 16th. LunaFest is a touring fundraising short film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women's issue. The Tampa fest will hosted by Divine Events at The Home Theatre Gallery. All proceeds from the event will go to The Breast Cancer Fund and Alpha House of Tampa.
Not only is this the first time LunaFest is visiting the Tampa Bay area, but local Producer Renee Warmack will also have her "Ten at the Top in Tampa Bay" screened. Ten at the Top is a documentary with interviews of local female government officials including Mayor Pam Iorio.
The other films screening that are the main part of the tour are Big Girl, Fim-de-Semana, Sarah in the Dark, Red Wednesday, Grappling Girls, 34x25x36, Kaden, My First Crush, The Ladies and Kuna Ni Nanang (My Mother Said).
The event begins at 7pm on Thursday, April 16. The Home Theatre Gallery is located at 3300 South Dale Mabry Highway. Tickets are $20 for Gen Admin, while VIP tix are $45 which includes an early admission (6pm) and food and wine.
