Academy Award Winner To Speak at UT

The University of Tampa and the Tampa Bay Film Commission will be bringing in Academy Award winning director Ray McKinnon to hold an all day acting and directing workshop at UT on Monday, March 17th.
The workshop is taking place at the UT campus in the Reeves Theater in the Vaughn Center from 9am to 6pm. It is free and open to the public.
McKinnon has acted in the TV series Deadwood and Driving Miss Daisy, Bugsy, A Perfect World, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, and The Missing.
As a director, his first effort was The Accountant, which won him a 2002 Oscar in the Live Action Short Film category. His first feature film, Chrystal, stars Billy Bob Thornton. He recently directed, produced, and acted in the feature length Randy and the Mob currently in release.
