Sarasota Film Society Screens Ringling Anis

The Sarasota Film Society has just announced a special free screening of animated films to be held on Saturday, March 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the Burns Court Cinemas located at 506 Burns Lane in Sarasota. The screening is part of the film society's annual Filmmaker's Forum series and provides an opportunity for these young filmmakers to share their love of the cinematic arts by showcasing their films in front of a live audience. This special program will focus on films made by students in their senior year at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. Faculty member Karen Sullivan will introduce the program and host a Q&A after the screening.

The Ringling College of Art and Design has a student body of over 1,000 students from 43 states and 23 foreign countries. It is recognized as being among the best and most innovative visual arts colleges in the United States as well as a leader in the use of technology in the arts.
